Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our time here. Our stay was fantastic. You really have thought of every detail. Hiking was great. We were going to go snow tubing but our day got cancelled due to rain. It rained most of our trip, not that you could control that. It's just that time of year. Was really hoping for snow :-( Hot tub was fantastic. We used it every day. It was quiet and it looks like your cleaning crew does a fantastic job. I would love to see the place in the fall. I'm sure it's gorgeous. Our Christmas was lovely. We can't wait to do it again. Thanks again. |

and my family want to thank
you for letting us share your little piece of heaven with us.
It
was what we all needed a little piece of the world with no
distractions. I loved that once we arrived we didn't have to
leave until check out. Such a great family bonding
experience.
We felt relaxed, comfortable and can't remember the last time
we
laughed so much so hard together. We have truely enjoyed the
quiet and relaxation this cabin has provided. Thank you

This is a great quiet place to escape the world and relax. Hot tub keeps you relaxed. But you can still catch TV and stay connected via the WiFi. West Jefferson is a fine town to explore and we love driving on the Parkway. Boone is not too far away and we find some great shopping there. In my view this is the perfect getaway cabin. |

was our first time here and everything was perfect! We loved
the hot tub and fire ring and just the coziness of the cabin.
Everything was so clean and organized and made for such a
relaxing time. We loved how clean the cabin was and the
thoroughness of the signs to help us figure everything out.
The owners were extremely helpful in walking us through how
to get the fireplace working. I enjoyed how we did not have
to bring our own linens and how well-stocked the cabin was.
The owners thought of everything and this made for an
excellent and worry-free stay! Thank you so much for sharing
your beautiful cabin with us! Can't wait to come back!

We needed some rest and relaxation so badly and we got it. It was amazing all the nice touches and amenities provided. We'll definitely be recommending your cabin to all our friends. BTW, we had deer visiting several times each day, up to five at a time. They seemed to know we wouldn't hurt them even if we were near the car. Your cabin is the best place to stay if you want rest and relaxation. Thank you again and we will definitely be back. |

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. We were very satisfied with the cabin. We saw a lot of wildlife. The most interesting thing was the doe that was looking in the kitchen window each morning when we opened the blinds. We had a very restful vacation at your lovely cabin. What did we like most? Everything. The secluded location. The cabin. All the amenities. Hard to separate anything out. We cancelled going out to eat a couple of times just so we could stay at the cabin. Hot tub was a definite plus to soothe the aching and aging body. Slept well, which doesn't happen at home, and I think the hot tub was a contributing factor. Might look into getting one for ourselves. West Jefferson, Jefferson, and Lansing were great when we did venture out. People are friendly. Found our church denomination in West Jefferson and attended there only to run into and be recognized by the minister the next day on the streets of WJ. Smoky Barbecue was a great carryout so we could stay in the cabin for the rest of the day. New place in Jefferson, Coyote Kitchen was a chance to try Southwest Caribbean Soul Food. Shatley Springs was a good breakfast site. Pie on the Mountain for pizza was great. Other than that we shopped at Food Lion & Ingles and ate in the cabin. Overall, very peaceful and relaxing, and we needed it. I already want to come back next year, maybe during the literary festival that is going on this week. We did enjoy the art crawl on Friday night and even purchased a picture to bring home. Fabulous library. All the comforts of home and none of the hassles. Would definitely spend another week here. Loved the hot tub and the porch. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. |

We had a great time here at the cabin and within the local towns. The setting was so nice and private. The stars out here are amazing, you can see every one. While we sat by the fire at night we took them all in. We love the cabin, it's everything we thought it would be. Thank you again for a beautiful cabin and setting. Thank you for helping us celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. What a beautiful cabin you have. A lot of thought went into it! Your cabin was amazing!! Very clean, we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved our privacy. While there we visited Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Mt Jefferson. Just sitting on the front porch was so relaxing, we had a very relaxing time. The drive was well worth it. I have to agree with others, our only disappointment was having to leave. The weather was just great. We will be returning with our grandsons. |

Like that the cabin is not amongst other cabins. Love the privacy - it's more of a Mountains setting. Love the cooler weather in the summer time too. We had our family up on Sunday for a cookout & they loved it!! Loved the cabin & all that is to do. Our 3rd trip & we will be back! Thanks. Went to Hawsnest zip line - great! |

Our
drive up was breathtaking!
As we entered the driveway, we saw 2 deer!! The
magic
continued thoughout our stay! This was our first vacay
without
our children. We visited Stone Mountain & Mt.
Jefferson Parks
- climbed mountains and had the most amazing views of all God's
beautiful country! Linville Caverns was amazing as well - so
much
to do & see here - we must return - next time with the kids!

For our 4th Anniversary I couldn't imagine a more beautiful
place
to spend it!! The cabin had everything we needed and more!!

We
had a wonderful stay at the cabin over the July 4th weekend! Me
and my family enjoyed being in the woods and the cool mountain breezes
in the morning! The location was perfect, far
enough away to be surrounded by peace and the relaxing sounds of nature
while at the same time being close enough to enjoy West Jefferson,
Jefferson Mt State Park, and we discovered a new place to go tubing on
the New River at another state park that was about a 20 minute drive
and the best part - tubing for free! The cabin was clean and had a lot of nice little touches to it. One of my favorite things was to drink my coffee on the front porch in the morning with my husband while the children were still asleep. This cabin is surrounded by Rhododendrons (maybe Mt. Laurels, not sure), beautiful! I was able to catch the last of the blooming season. Another person commented on the comfortable beds and I concur. The beds were very comfortable and that sure does make for a better get away, a good night sleep! We are making plans to venture back to this cabin. The family has voted and hope to enjoy this cabin in the woods in fall with the changing of the leaves & with all the color. Everyone in the family had a great time! One of the children wrote: This was a perfect cabin for me and my family. The location was just fine. I enjoyed being in the woods and hiking!!! |

Our second time here! Wonderful! Last time was July during our anniversary. We had our two children with us, 5 yrs & 4 yrs. They loved sleeping in the loft. They felt very special :-) Since then we have not heard the end of when we could come back here. So here we are! We are relaxed. Everyone is care free and our two little ones are collecting "nature" for us. Rocks, pine cones, etc. Our goal is to come again in the winter :-) |

I liked the secluded setting and the fact that it's out of town. Kinda "off the grid". I totally want to move out to that part of NC in a few years. Overall, it was amazing! The price. The location. What didn't we like. The cabin is better equipped than my house! We didn't get to the cabin until 9pm on check in day. It was dark as we pulled onto the dirt road and then there was the little white lights around the porch...that made my day! The outside speaker with a hook up for my Pandora on my phone was great. It rained on Saturday so we were stuck inside a little but the DVD collection was great too. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin. We enjoyed all the natural beauty around us. Nice hot tub. We hope to come back again soon. Thanks again. |

Thank you for another memory filled stay. We had such a great time hiking the Cascades trail on the BRP and seeing waterfalls. This stay we also spent a good amount of time geocaching with our children - such fun! We loved the fire pit, the hot tub and the overall setting in the woods. We have had an amazing weekend and with our lives so crazy, we finally relaxed!! We slept late, enjoyed the town of West Jefferson and especially the cheese factory!! We ate Village Inn pizza for lunch and Smokey Mountain BBQ! We spent most of our time at the cabin, just reconnecting and slowing our world down. We loved the cabin, the helpful notes and the hot tub. We enjoyed the porch and the rocking chairs with our coffee each morning. All the amenities of home. Warm and very comfortable. We enjoyed it so much! It's such a nice vacation home. We have had the best time here at the cabin. Everything was amazing and we are very sad to leave. We cannot wait to come back very soon!! Highly recommend this as a fabulous vacation spot. |

Once again we had a great time. We love the seclusion the best. We both have very stressful jobs and we are both volunteer firefighters and EMT's. We have very little time for ourselves between jobs and children. We love the view and being away from everyday life for a few days. things we liked most were
the accommodations and the peacefulness of the woods. We
didn't
have to pack everything. We went to Jefferson Mountain and
hiked. That was nice and the hot tub. We absolutely
loved
the cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated
all
the notes & directions, it made it so easy. We look
forward
to coming back in the summer months so we can take advantage of the
close proximity of the river. Thanks again for such a nice
